Mercure Hotel reception agent John was highly professional, impeccably courteous, and outstandingly helpful to us during our stay at the Mercure. He contacted Booking.com about a discrepancy in their confirmation to me of three different prices for the hotel, attempting to resolve the issue for us. Though John expended extra time and energy on this problem, Booking.com was dismissive to him, refusing to honor their original lowest confirmed price. We so appreciated John’s efforts on our behalf. He also made us feel welcomed at the Mercure. His customer relation skills are superb, for he cheerfully followed through on all our requests during our stay. John is a lovely and valuable asset to the Mercure. Thank you, John, for all you did so pleasantly for us.

The hotel is in a great location, central to all places of interest, modes of transport and bars & restaurants. Although in a prime spot, in the evening & overnight, it is quiet. The hotel is kept clean and presentable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with so much variety of food. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location to explore Nice and enjoy the old town and the beach. Room a decent size with very effective air con. Staff were extremely helpful. We had breakfast included and would highly recommend as was an impressive spread and all possible tastes catered for. The breakfast ladies were superb.

Cute little hotel right on the seafront. Its location probably gives it the high price as the rooms are small, but I loved being able to walk straight across the road and jump in the sea. The breakfast was surprisingly good, with lots of fruit and breads and cereals. I found it to be a little haven.

We had a large premium room with a large modern shower room. The bed was also very large with comfortable pillows. The location was excellent. Everything from the Old town to the beach was all just steps away We will definitely consider staying here again the next time we travel to Nice.
